Rates

Adults  – 165 USD per person, per night.
Children (5-17 years) – 60 USD per person, per night.
Infants (0-4 years) Free

Rates include all meals, unlimited tea coffee, drinking water and all locally guided excursions and activities. 

You will be allocated one of the private clusters of huts for your booking on an exclusive basis. 

Tipple

The Mudhouse is not licenced to sell alcohol. Anamaduwa town has an outlet with a simple selection of beers and local spirits which we can purchase on your behalf. However we recommend bringing required alcoholic drinks with you. All huts have cool boxes and free mixers and soft drinks, while beers can also be stored in our main fridge and served whenever you request them.

Transfers

Private transfers to or from The Mudhouse can easily be arranged in advance and added to your booking. Contact us if you need a quote or simply to book a vehicle and driver to collect or drop you off elsewhere in Sri Lanka

Location

The Mudhouse is nestled among fifty acres of forest close to Anamaduwa town in the heart of Puttalam District in Sri Lanka’s North Western Province.  

We are just 2.5 hours drive from Colombo’s BIA international airport, 3 hours from Sigiriya or Dambulla and 2.5 hours from Kandy.

To be met by a driver at the airport we just need your flight number and arrival time. 

Booking

The Mudhouse has resisted the push towards instant online reservations and still cannot be booked through any of the major online platforms. This somewhat archaic approach may seem counter-intuitive, but we find it really helps to have the opportunity to learn about your inquiry individually and explain what we can offer before confirming bookings.
